GeoTerra is a growing engineering and environmental contractor providing construction testing and turnkey remediation services. We are actively involved on construction sites and work closely with contractors to ensure quality, compliance, and efficient execution at every stage of a project.
Position Summary
GeoTerra is seeking a motivated
Construction Technician
to work directly on active construction sites. This field-based role focuses on managing and testing construction materials and supporting quality control activities throughout the construction process.Key Responsibilities
Perform on-site construction testing Manage and monitor materials placement in accordance with project specifications Coordinate with contractors, site supervisors, and project managers Ensure testing is conducted in compliance with applicable standards and procedures Accurately document field results, test data, and daily site activities Maintain testing equipment and follow health and safety requirements on site
Qualifications
Background or interest in construction, civil engineering, or materials testing Minimum
1 year of experience
in construction, field work Previous site or field experience is an asset (training provided) Comfortable working outdoors and in active construction environments Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently Valid driver's licenseWhat We Offer
