TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Construction Support - Mill Erection/Constructability role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.
Qualifications:
Construction Expertise

• Extensive experience in mill erection and installation of mechanical equipment.
• Skilled in managing projects in remote and challenging environments, including high-altitude locations in the Andes.
• Strong background in project initiation, constructability reviews, and execution planning.
• Proficient in site development, heavy lifting operations, and structural assembly.
• Knowledge of PPMOF processes, particularly in defining target modules.
• Experienced in facilitating Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) programs.

Home Office Capabilities

• Ability to prepare execution strategies, technical reports, and formal communications.
• Strong presentation skills, including creating and delivering decision-making materials.
• Competent in using software tools for technical analysis and trade-off evaluations.
• Experienced in coordinating with construction automation systems.

Additional Qualifications

• 15-20 years of industry experience.
• High-altitude project execution (above 3,500 meters).
• Familiarity with South American projects; Argentina experience is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.

Contract Development

• Skilled in developing large-scale vertical contracts exceeding USD $100M, including providing guidance on formation, evaluation, and recommendations.
