About the Role

We are seeking a Construction Superintendent with a strong background in field operations, job site coordination, and team leadership. In this key role, you'll be responsible for overseeing daily on-site construction activities from start to finish, ensuring our projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

You'll lead subcontractors, manage site logistics, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and help drive projects forward with confidence and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage on-site construction activities for residential and commercial projects Lead and coordinate the work of subcontractors, site staff, and skilled trades Assign daily and weekly tasks for self-performed scope and ensure team accountability Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with specifications Monitor and enforce site safety policies and maintain compliance with local regulations Coordinate material deliveries and manage on-site logistics and storage Conduct daily site inspections to assess progress, quality, and safety Maintain detailed site documentation, including daily logs and reports Collaborate with construction/project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve site issues Promote a positive, efficient, and high-performance job site culture

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role with a general contractor Experience in luxury residential, single and multi-family, and commercial projects Proven ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and full-site operations Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, safety protocols, and scheduling Experience interpreting and executing construction drawings and specifications Proficiency with construction tools such as Microsoft Project, Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office. Buildertrend knowledge is a plus Detail-oriented, excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Strong problem-solving ability and decision-making skills under pressure Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift heavy items and navigate active construction sites Local knowledge, Caribbean or island project experience is an asset Valid driver's license and reliable site transportation required
