We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Superintendent with a strong background in heavy civil construction for a project in Cape Broyle. This project has an expected duration of approximately four months with a tentative schedule of 10 days on/4 days off.
Responsibilities
Supervise all on-site construction activities. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Monitor project schedules and budgets and report progress. Lead and mentor field crews, ensuring productivity and morale. Resolve on-site issues and adapt plans as needed to maintain workflow. Conduct inspections and ensure adherence to design specifications.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the heavy civil construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites on a turnaround schedule.
