Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction and be able to work collaboratively on diverse projects and be proficient in operating heavy duty machinery like excavators. This role requires a hands-on approach to construction tasks, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

Project Planning and Scheduling Site Surveying and Soil Testing Design Coordination and Review Obtaining Permits and Compliance Documentation Site Preparation and Excavation Foundation Construction Earthworks and Grading Drainage and Stormwater Management Installation of Utilities (water, sewer, gas, electrical) Building Foundations and Structural Work Paving and Road Construction Equipment operation Concrete Pouring and Reinforcement Erosion and Sediment Control Materials Procurement and Management Site Safety and Risk Management Inspection and Quality Control Coordination with Subcontractors Environmental Management and Sustainability Practices Demolition and Site Clearance Final Site Finishing and Landscaping

Qualifications

Proven experience in skilled labor roles within the construction industry. Proficiency use of power tools, heavy duty machinery like an Excavator Familiarity with construction estimating practices is a plus. Familiarity with operation of heavy duty equipment Ability to read and understand schematics related to construction projects. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.82-$50.00 per hour
