Site Superintendent

to join our team in

The ideal candidate will bring extensive knowledge of construction site management, including coordination of subcontractors, schedule oversight, and a strong commitment to site safety. Experience in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications is essential. A minimum of

10 years of experience in the pre-engineered steel building market

is required.

Qualifications:



Minimum 10 years of relevant construction experience, specifically with pre-engineered steel buildings Minimum of

5 years

direct experience managing TI projects in commercial, office, retail, or mixed-use environments. Strong understanding of site management, safety protocols, and scheduling Proven ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate trades on-site Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Established relationships with local sub-trades considered a strong asset
As a Gator Superintendent, your duties will include but are not limited to supervising the work site and employees, assisting with site staffing, quality control, sub-trade coordination, project scheduling, field cost control, and safety. You will also be responsible for deciding on the method of construction, materials quantities, equipment, work schedule, and documentation of hours worked.

Other responsibilities include ensuring that daily operations comply with the company's objectives through the adequate supervision of hourly production and maintenance employees, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation and company policies and procedures, participating in preconstruction services, maintaining relationships with engineering, estimating, and planning.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, organization, and decision-making skills and be proficient in Microsoft Suite, SharePoint and Blue Beam. Being familiar with Site Docs is considered an asset. Also, you must have a valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation, as some travel in Alberta may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
