As our team grows, we're looking for a Construction Site Lead to oversee our crews and support the successful delivery of projects across Manitoba and beyond.

Position Overview:



As a Construction Site Lead, you will report directly to the Sites Manager and be responsible for managing day-to-day activities on site. You will oversee a crew of up to 5 people, coordinate with trades, and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to make decisions on-site and keep projects moving toward deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:



Supervise and lead the site crew (approx. 5 people) on active construction projects. Act as the primary point of contact for trades, subcontractors, and site-related communication. Ensure safety protocols are followed and a clean, organized site is maintained. Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and site instructions. Support the Sites Manager by providing updates, reporting issues, and implementing solutions. Coordinate scheduling, site activities, and deliveries to maintain productivity. Assist in problem-solving and decision-making on site to keep work on track. Ensure high-quality standards and compliance with project specifications. Mentor and support site staff, fostering teamwork and professionalism.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:



Minimum 3-5 years of construction site experience, with supervisory or lead hand experience. Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. Comfortable working with deadlines and handling pressure on site. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Possession of basic hand tools required for the role. Willingness to travel and work occasional overtime. Professional, detail-oriented, and safety-focused.

Assets (Not Required but a Plus):



Experience in prefab or modular construction. Knowledge of construction scheduling and site logistics. Training or certification in health and safety leadership.

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
