Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate repair and maintenance of equipment in the shop and yard. Support Mechanics, Yard personnel, and Float Driver. Liaise with General Superintendent for shop-related float moves. Manage interactions with vendors for equipment/material deliveries and parts/services. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop, yard, and yard office. Conduct daily huddles; assist in creating work requests/orders. Manage material storage in various yards (Vars, Long Sault, Chrysler). Oversee haulage, shipping, and receiving operations. Operate telehandlers and heavy equipment for loading/unloading as needed. Promote safety and quality in all activities. Assist in dispatching vehicles and equipment, ensuring compliance with permits, licenses, and safety checks. Handle other related duties and special projects as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience in construction equipment and environment. Knowledge of construction equipment operation and maintenance. Ability to multitask and solve problems effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Valid driver's license.
