We are seeking a Construction Services Team Leader on behalf of our client for their Greenwood, NS location. In this role, you will oversee construction programs, lead a team of technical professionals, and ensure quality service delivery across multiple infrastructure and environmental initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and manage a team of professionals overseeing construction and service contracts.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management for direct reports.
  • Allocate resources effectively and promote collaboration and teamwork.
  • Offer functional guidance and support to employees and client partners.
Project & Contract Oversight
  • Oversee and administer construction, professional services, and service contracts to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, standards, and quality specifications.
  • Coordinate and resolve day-to-day project and contractual challenges.
  • Manage project risks, schedules, and budgets, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Facilitate communications and coordination among contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
  • Support business development opportunities within construction and infrastructure programs.
Stakeholder & Client Relations
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, client partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on construction-related issues, ensuring clarity, collaboration, and responsiveness.
  • Promote excellence in service delivery and client satisfaction.
Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure all work adheres to corporate standards, health and safety regulations, and client expectations.
  • Monitor and assess contract performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support the development and enforcement of quality assurance and service level arrangements.
Other Duties
  • Perform other tasks as required to support the team and organizational objectives.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Minimum: College diploma in engineering, architecture, or a related field, with at least five (5) years of relevant experience-or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred: University degree in a related discipline and/or formal training in project or construction management.
Technical Knowledge & Skills
  • Sound understanding of best practices, methods, and legislation in construction, engineering, and architecture.
  • Knowledge of procurement mechanisms and contract management principles.
  • Proficiency in project, contract, and risk management techniques.
  • Familiarity with health and safety management practices.
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency with project management software.
Leadership & Competencies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop professional teams.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Eligibility Requirements
  • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Please note: the successful candidate will be required to obtain a security clearance, which requires five years of residency in Canada within the last five years.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Reliability Security Clearance.
  • Must adhere to the organization's Code of Business Conduct.
Working Conditions
  • Primarily office-based with occasional travel.
  • Some duties may occur on active construction sites; basic safety equipment may be required.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $91,826 - $119,370
