Job Description

Verity Construction Ltd. is looking for a CSO to perform daily inspections of job sites and help the Safety Manager in daily operations:

Position Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

- Assisting the Safety Manager in daily operations

- Performing site inspections to ensure safety standards are being met

- Promoting site safety

- Ensuring that site workers are working in accordance with the approved practices and procedures

- Engaging with site workers to encourage safety on site

- Developing and implementing safe work procedures and safe job practices

- Conducting and documenting toolbox meetings

- Performing site orientations and training people to give site orientations for new workers

- Ensuring safety regulations are being followed and perform disciplinary measures

Requirements:

- CSO certification

- Valid occupational first aid level two/ intermediate first aid or higher

- Ability to work in a team setting

- Experience on a variety of project types

- Good organizational and documentation skills

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
