About Us

Westrich Pacific Corp is an innovative Western Canadian real estate developer, proudly known for our high-rise concrete condominiums and mixed-use developments. As we continue to grow, we're expanding our low-rise multi-family construction division -- and we're looking for a passionate Construction Safety Officer (CSO) to join our team.

At Westrich, we believe safety is everyone's responsibility. We're looking for someone who takes that seriously -- a proactive professional who can build strong relationships on site and foster a true culture of safety.

What You'll Do

As our CSO, you'll take a hands-on role in ensuring every worker goes home safe at the end of the day. You'll:

Implement and enforce site-specific safety policies and procedures Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance with OHS regulations Investigate and document incidents, near misses, and hazards, and recommend corrective actions Lead safety training sessions and toolbox talks for crews and subcontractors Collaborate with Project Managers and Site Supervisors to promote safe work practices Maintain detailed safety records and certifications Conduct site orientations for new team members and visitors Stay current with local, provincial, and federal safety regulations

What You Bring

Minimum 4 years of experience as a CSO, ideally in multi-residential or similar construction projects Valid First Aid certification Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices Solid organizational, communication, and leadership skills Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and computer systems A proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
