About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and results-driven Project/Sales Manager to join our growing team in the Halton Region.
This role combines sales, project coordination, and client relationship management, with the exciting potential to advance into a General Manager position as the business expands into the GTA.
You'll be responsible for driving sales, managing customer relationships, and overseeing the delivery of high-quality siding and exterior renovation projects. The ideal candidate thrives on challenges, has strong communication and organizational skills, and takes pride in providing an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.
What You'll Do
  • Meet with homeowners (appointments provided -- no cold calling) to discuss exterior renovation needs
  • Present tailored project proposals, product options, samples, and payment options
  • Manage the full sales cycle - from initial consultation to contract signing
  • Take building measurements and prepare project details for Operations
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager (if necessary) to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and follow up with clients to close deals and ensure satisfaction
  • Monitor project progress and resolve any client concerns or scope changes
  • Build long-term client relationships to encourage referrals and repeat business
  • Represent Ideal Siding at local events, home shows, and community activities
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to management on sales performance and lead quality
What You Bring
  • At least 3 years of sales experience and 3 years of customer service experience
  • Background in construction, renovation, or home improvement (preferred)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • A results-oriented mindset and attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (truck not required)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Reliable phone and home workstation
