Construction Project Manager

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee the construction of single-family homes, duplexes, and triplexes across two active job sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential construction management, construction technologies, and trade coordination. This is a hands-on role requiring daily site supervision, procurement of bids and quotes, material coordination, and workforce management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of residential construction, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Site Supervision: Conduct daily site visits, supervise subcontractors and trades, and enforce quality control and safety compliance.
• Scheduling & Coordination: Plan and schedule work to optimize trade efficiency and material delivery.
• Procurement & Logistics: Source and coordinate construction materials, ensuring timely deliveries to job sites.
• Trade & Workforce Management: Hire, supervise, and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and day laborers.
• Bidding & Quotations: Request, review, and manage quotes from contractors and suppliers for various construction tasks.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot site issues, making quick decisions to avoid delays.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of project schedules, budgets, expenses, and vendor performance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience in residential construction (single-family, duplex, and triplex projects).
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry best practices.
• Ability to coordinate deliveries, manage trades, and oversee job site operations efficiently.
• Experience in requesting and evaluating bids, quotes, and contracts.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and permitting processes.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
• Must have access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license for site visits.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

Performance-based bonus structure
