Responsibilities:



Lead and supervise residential construction projects from pre-construction to final inspection. Oversee all on-site construction activities and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. Visit job sites 2-3 times a week or as needed to assess progress and provide hands-on leadership. Coordinate with trades, suppliers, and the internal

construction coordinator

to ensure materials, tools, and personnel are available and aligned with project schedules. Monitor and manage job schedules, create weekly checklists, and upload daily logs using our construction management platform (e.g., BuilderTrend). Ensure that all change orders, contracts, and documentation are updated and submitted accurately. Track labor hours and production against milestones and budgets. Minimize waste, monitor material usage, and anticipate shortages to avoid delays. Provide regular performance feedback and discipline support as required. Communicate with customers and stakeholders, delivering exceptional service and clear explanations. Serve as the bridge between field and office, ensuring that all teams have accurate information to execute project goals. Conduct pre-construction site reviews, complete handoff forms, and prepare for all site meetings. Submit reports, upload receipts, and manage all financial paperwork related to the site. Investigate incidents or near-misses, providing complete documentation and assessments. Coordinate procurement and delivery schedules with the office team. Stay ahead by planning and scheduling trade activities at least two weeks in advance.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Construction Management or a related field. 10-15 years of experience in residential construction, including renovations, additions, and custom home builds. Proven experience as a

construction project manager

construction manager

, or

site supervisor

overseeing multiple job sites. Skilled in scheduling, budgeting, quality assurance, and trade coordination. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, technical language, and residential construction methods. Ability to manage and direct multiple teams, subcontractors, and internal staff simultaneously. Hands-on experience with BuilderTrend or other construction project management software. Exceptional organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset. Strong attention to detail with a focus on documentation, tracking, and compliance.

Valid driver's license (G class) and reliable vehicle required.


Compensation:



Range of $100,000.00-$150,000.00 based on experience
