Project Manager (Mid-Rise Residential Construction)

Our client is a well-established General Contractor and Construction Management firm based in Kitchener with a strong reputation and long-term pipeline of work. They are currently seeking a Project Manager to lead the development of a new mid-rise residential project from start to finish.

About the Role:

The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of construction delivery on a mid-rise residential site, ensuring the project is completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site position offering strong growth prospects within a stable and respected construction group.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day construction operations and coordination on site Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting Oversee subcontractor and supplier relationships Ensure safety compliance and quality control throughout the project lifecycle Collaborate with design consultants, internal teams, and ownership to resolve issues and drive progress Monitor project costs, forecast future needs, and manage changes effectively

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in a Project Manager or similar role within the construction industry Experience with mid-rise residential construction strongly preferred; ICI (Institutional, Commercial, Industrial) experience also considered if relevant Proven ability to manage construction schedules, budgets, and on-site teams Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety practices Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
