In this position, you will be responsible for leading multiple construction, renovation, and leasehold improvement projects from planning through completion, while contributing to long-term capital strategy and operational excellence.

Construction Project Manager Responsibilities
Oversee multiple construction and renovation projects from planning through completion, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are met
Work closely with the Capital Projects General Manager to develop and execute long-term capital and leasehold improvement strategies
Provide leadership and operational oversight to site supervisors and project teams
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety compliance, and quality standards
Interpret and enforce construction drawings, contracts, municipal bylaws, and permitting requirements
Construction Project Manager Qualifications
Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation required
Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent experience preferred
Experience in commercial and/or residential construction
Strong knowledge of Halifax-area construction practices, permitting processes, and local bylaws
Ability to work both in-office and on active construction sites
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
