Job Description

TalentWorld is hiring a Construction Project Manager on behalf of a leading real estate development and property management company based in Halifax. This organization has a strong track record of delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use projects and is seeking an experienced professional to oversee upcoming developments.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Construction Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from design through completion, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline goals are achieved. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong coordination with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple construction projects from planning to completion
• Supervise on-site activities, contractors, and consultants to ensure compliance with safety and building standards
• Review project plans, schedules, budgets, and contribute to cost control and efficiency improvements
• Ensure timely completion of project milestones and prepare progress reporting for leadership
• Maintain quality control, resolve deficiencies, and ensure project delivery on time and on budget

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of construction experience, with at least 2 years as a Project Manager
• Strong knowledge of Canadian building codes, permits, construction practices, scheduling, and quality standards
• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management software an asset
• Trade certification (carpentry or related) considered an advantage
