About the Opportunity


Our client, a well-established nonprofit organization, is embarking on an exciting new capital project -- the acquisition of land and construction of a new community facility. They are seeking an experienced

Project Manager

to oversee all phases of this initiative from feasibility through completion. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working flexibly on a part-time contract basis.

What You'll Do



Lead and coordinate the planning, acquisition, design, and construction of a new facility. Manage relationships with consultants, contractors, and external partners. Develop project timelines, budgets, and procurement processes. Oversee risk management, permitting, and compliance requirements. Report regularly to the board and senior leadership on project progress and financials. Ensure the project aligns with the organization's mission, community goals, and fiscal responsibility.

About You



Proven experience managing capital projects or facility builds (preferably in the nonprofit or public sector). Strong background in construction management, real estate acquisition, or project delivery. Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable navigating government approvals, community engagement, and consultant coordination. Ability to work independently while collaborating with board and leadership teams.
