Prioritize and deliver multiple small and large projects, from beginning to end, which includes monitoring progress according to contract documents, project deliverables and milestones set.

Liaise with clients, design team consultants and subcontractors to ensure all project work is compliant with the contract documents, while ensuring the projects will be delivered on time and on budget

Conduct field investigations and propose solutions to Clients through quotations, making sure that everything is in conformance to Canada's building code and standards, and pertinent laws.

Prepare reports, analysis and design, plans, details, and specifications for addition, modification or renovations to residential, commercial, and industrial buildings

Uses initiative and judgment to resolve problems, interpret engineering specifications and drawings, investigate design and field engineering difficulties

Provide detailed estimate of cost of materials, labors, and equipment & preliminary projected schedule based on tender documents, engineering drawings, and specifications Knowledge of related disciplines/fields of engineering is preferred

Expected results

Helps achieve project budgets and expansion of client accounts through business development.

Ensures and manages client and consultants/engineer satisfaction.

Make decisions for optimal use of the resources. Collaborates and ensures the proper utilization of the department resources in multidisciplinary projects:

Identifies the opportunities to adapt to the service offered to the changing needs of the client and participate in their implementation

Identifies continuous improvement initiatives and achieves the goals set for these initiatives

Maintains the quality of services offered - good level of quality service and deliverability vs. timeliness; Ensures balance of workload

Assigns resources to the right projects (allocates the right kind of resource to the position requirement)

Provides the relevant technical supervision, carry out or delegate the technical operation Evaluates the skills development needs of the site staff and make recommendations to the department Director regarding the appropriate technical training programs;

Ensures compliance with administrative requirements, issuing time sheets, expense reports, schedules, etc Provide detailed estimate with complete quantity takeoff, scope of work, and construction schedule

Build level 3 Project Schedule in MS Project and/or Primavera P6

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $1,250.00-$1,500.00 per week

Experience:

Restoration: 2 years above (preferred) Project Management: 3 years (preferred) Construction Estimates: 3 years (preferred) Bachelor in Construction Management (preferred) or equivalent G-license (job entails traveling at least around GTA as a requirement of the work) Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
