DescriptionOur client is looking for a Project Manager to manage some small T&D projects in both BC, AB, SK and the Yukon. The ideal candidate will have 5 years exp. working as a PM with exposure to construction projects. The candidate will have past exp. in managing budget and contracts used to perform work. The ideal candidate will also have some sort of exposure to the transmission and distribution industries but it is not a must have. Projects will go as large as 500kv but most are smaller in KV, and are tie ins to renewable sites. This PM position will be mostly supporting new build and maintenance projects for BC Hydro and AltaLink.Examples of projects are switching out components off existing lines, stringing lines, and construction of new foundations.They will can be handling 10 smaller projects (50-400k in spend) along side projects up to 10mmJob Qualifications

• 5-10 years exp. as a PM
• Construction exp from a PM stand point
• 2-4 medium size jobs (longest project is going to be 4-5 months)
• Pilings exp. (civil component)
• Utilities exp. is a must have (if no powerlines then someone with an electrical background, or linear projects)
• Design review
• Oversight of budget and schedule (some P6 know how or MS projects)
• Technologist or engineers
• Excel skills
• Technical exp. or field work exp.
