What is Required for the Position
1-3 years experience (sewer & watermain experience is an asset).
Post Secondary education in civil engineering or engineering tech
CET or EIT designation
Demonstrated commitment to your team and the aims and goals of the company
Strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Take direction well and seek clarity in job duties and responsibilities
Demonstrated experience developing customer focused client relationships
Keen sense of foresight and versatility and a track record for creative problem solving
The Job
As a Site Project Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in supporting the successful execution of construction projects from the ground up. Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll act as a key link between the office and the field. You will ensure work proceeds on schedule, materials are on site when needed, and safety and documentation standards are met. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve a balance of administrative, logistical, and on-site coordination tasks. You will look to manage costs in all your activites. This hands-on role will expose you to all aspects of project execution.
The Tasks
Ensure accurate and proper documentation and maintenance of project files (both physical and digital).
Daily site contact and production review
Cost management - keep costs in line with expectations.
Attend project meetings and record detailed meeting minutes.
Provide administrative support to the project team.
Work with subcontractors to establish work plans and safe work requirements.
Review, verify, and file field production reports.
Review, verify, and file quality documentation.
Report and record daily issues to project team.
Tracking and reporting of production quantities and equipment utilization.
Coordinate material delivery to the job site, following up on discrepancies or variances.
Coordinate rentals to and from site
Coordinate with the project team and other sites on movement of equipment to and from site
Project and site related safety documentation, administration, and related safety audits
Performs other related administrative or project based duties as assigned.
