Job description:
The Project Coordinator will report to the Project Managers of specific projects and will be managed by the Project Director. The Project Coordinator will have a broad understanding of all documentation and coordination systems required to ensure the timely delivery of all information to all relevant project shareholders. Utilizing various construction software's and technology, the coordinator will have a deep understanding of construction systems and processes which will enable them to work in a very high paced environment. Document control and the meticulous control and administration of information will be requirements of this job.

Job responsibilities:
Processing site documentation in a timely and efficient manner
Provide admin support to the project management team, owner and site team where required
Review documentation relating to drawings and contract documents
Obtain pricing for projects from suppliers and trades
Assist the project manager in their duties
Liason with the site teams
Occasional site visits to provide project updates
Helping create our systems and processes as our company grows
Encourage safety amongst our company
Coordinating and communicating in an expedited manner between our clients and our project manager where required
Job prerequisites and qualifications:
Experience working as a project coordinator or relevant site experience in a trade coupled with education related to project management.
Minimum 3 years experience in construction related to commercial construction, either in a site or office setting.
Some level of formal post-secondary education
Excellent English skills both oral, comprehension, and written
Excellent computer skills related to office software such as MS Office applications, excel, outlook, bluebeam, procore etc
Self-motivated and ambitious and be a self-learner
Ability to wear a few hats while being mentored into this role if necessary
Great time management skills
Strong skills in plan reading and construction documentation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
