Construction Precast Installer

OVERVIEW

The Precast Installer works as part of a team to carry out the installation of precast concrete components, including hollowcore panels, wall panels, beams, columns, bleachers, and balconies. The role requires travel to and from various job sites and may involve extended work hours. Depending on project location and requirements, occasional overnight stays are necessary. The Precast Installer reports directly to the Installation Site Superintendent.

THE DAY TO DAY

Work as part of a crew on precast concrete projects. Collaborate as part of a crew on precast concrete projects. Safely rig, position, and install various precast components. Verify that components are erected in the correct sequence. Follow construction drawings to ensure proper bearing and connections. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical details. Complete all connections accurately according to specifications. Load, unload, and transport construction materials as required. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Must be hard-working, punctual and a dedicated team player Hard-working, punctual, and a reliable team player. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work. Physically fit, able to lift, bend, and work outdoors in a variety of conditions. Comfortable working at heights and operating equipment such as swing stages, manlifts, and scaffolding. Caulking experience considered an asset. Available to work 45+ hours per week (Monday-Friday). Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
