Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting disciplines, including residential, commercial, restoration, and industrial painting. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paints and coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes on a variety of projects. The Painter will work closely with project managers and clients to meet specifications and deadlines, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paints, stains, primers, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project requirements Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during preparation and application processes Perform rigging tasks as needed for elevated or hard-to-reach areas Assist with carpentry tasks related to surface preparation or repair when necessary Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met Manage time efficiently to complete projects within designated schedules

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting, restoration, residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in painting and carpentry tasks Knowledge of caulking techniques for surface sealing and finishing touches Strong understanding of rigging procedures for working at heights or in complex environments Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively Good time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Customer service orientation with a professional attitude towards clients and team members
