We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both construction and residential painting, with a strong ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and restoring structures to their desired aesthetic.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications. Restore surfaces by repairing damages and ensuring a smooth finish. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality. Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines. Operate rigging equipment safely when necessary for elevated work or large projects. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting and residential painting is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients. Ability to read schematics and follow detailed instructions accurately. Knowledge of caulking techniques and surface preparation methods is essential. Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with carpentry or building structures is a plus but not required. A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship is essential for success in this role.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
