Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced painter with the ability to work on both commercial and industrial projects to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques. This role requires an individual that is detail oriented, commitment to quality, and has the ability to effectively communicate with clients and other team members.

Please note that this is a Sub-Contractor role.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, or caulking as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the scope of work required. Rig and set up scaffolding or other equipment as needed for high or difficult-to-reach areas. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project timelines and expectations. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting, including commercial and industrial projects. Proven proficiency in using hand tools and painting equipment. Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematics is preferred. Strong skills in caulking and surface preparation techniques. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Detail oriented and strong commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
