Our client is committed to delivering exceptional residential developments that reflect innovation, sustainability, and quality. As a Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of these projects.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of multi-family wood frame construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all construction activities for multi-family wood frame projects.

Attracts and trains Site Superintendents and construction staff.

Ensures team completes and complies with all safety and construction processes.

Collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project goals are met.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control standards.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on the construction site.

Manage and mentor on-site personnel, including superintendents and trades.

Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.

Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.

Oversee project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a strong background in multi-family wood frame projects.

Commercial construction experience is an asset.

Completion of Civil/Construction Engineering Technologist diploma/BSc. and/or Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter trade certification.

Thorough knowledge of wood frame construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.

Proven ability to lead and manage complex construction projects from inception to completion.

Strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce safety protocols.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Inspects homes and sites in jurisdiction to rate and recognize production risks and solutions to mitigate problems.

Checks trade quality and material usage to specifications and budget.

Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results.

Proficiency in construction software and project management tools.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation.
