Construction Manager
Our client is seeking strategic and results-driven Construction Manager to lead the delivery side of their operations. This role is responsible for managing construction operations from contract to closeout, including project team leadership, process development, performance tracking, and strategic alignment. The successful candidate will be an experienced construction professional with a strong background in design-build projects, team leadership, and operational management.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:

  • Lead and manage construction operations across multiple projects and teams
  • Establish systems to monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, and client requirements
  • Assign and support project teams, ensuring clarity of goals and responsibilities
  • Review project bids and budgets to identify cost-saving opportunities and risks
  • Provide guidance and escalation support to Project Managers and Coordinators
  • Conduct regular job cost and progress meetings to ensure project alignment
  • Manage monthly invoicing cycles and approve high-value expenditures
  • Conduct site visits to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards
  • Collaborate with consultants and owners to improve project execution and client satisfaction
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance management for the operations team
  • Participate in strategic planning and management meetings
  • Champion company culture, values, and cross-departmental collaboration
Your strengths include:
  • Minimum 5 years in a similar leadership role
  • 10+ years of experience in design-build construction, particularly in light industrial and commercial sectors
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding of building systems, codes, and construction methodologies
  • Expertise in budgeting, estimating, cost control, and financial reporting
  • Ability to anticipate and solve constructability challenges
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Adaptability in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and operational efficiency
