Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Team Leader to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to effectively manage a team while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This role is essential for maintaining project timelines and budgets while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Duties

Lead and supervise construction teams on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications. Review and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction documents to guide project execution. Utilize construction management software, documentation, and communication. Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations. Manage budgeting processes, including cost estimation and resource allocation for projects. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Train and mentor team members in best practices for safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship. Maintain clear communication with project managers regarding progress updates, challenges, and solutions.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction management or a similar supervisory role within the industry. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics; familiarity with Bluebeam is a plus. Strong skills in construction estimating and budgeting practices. Experience with quality control measures in construction projects. Ability to effectively supervise teams while fostering a positive work environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project needs. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
