Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Hand to oversee construction projects and coordinate daily activities on-site. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisor skills, technical knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency with industry-standard software. Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety protocols Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide team tasks Utilize construction management - project tracking, documentation, and reporting. Oversee quality control measures to meet project specifications and industry standards Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and resource allocation for ongoing projects Monitor work progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions promptly Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times

Skills

Proven supervising experience in the construction industry with strong leadership capabilities. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents Knowledge of quality control procedures and construction safety standards Strong understanding of budgeting processes within construction projects. Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with stakeholders Familiarity with construction schematics and technical drawings is highly desirable
