About the Role

We are seeking a

Construction Lawyer

with strong experience in construction, development, and

CCDC contracts

to join our roster of lawyers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record advising on complex construction projects, supporting clients across the full lifecycle of development.

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate

construction and development agreements

, including

CCDC contracts

. Analyze

long and complex contracts

to identify risk, obligations, and opportunities for clients. Advise on

procurement, project structuring, and risk management

. Support clients on matters involving

construction disputes, claims, and lien issues

. Work on projects involving

infrastructure, commercial developments, and mixed-use properties

. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and external counsel as required.

Profile Sought

Minimum

10+ years of experience

practicing construction and development law. Experience at a

major law firm (Big Law)

is required. Hands-on knowledge of

CCDC contracts

and construction project documentation. Practical experience handling

construction claims, liens, and disputes

. Demonstrated ability to

analyze long and complex contracts

and provide actionable advice. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and see matters through to completion. Comfortable contributing in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
