The Role:

The Construction Labourer assists with construction projects by cleaning and preparing a job site; handling, loading, delivering and staging materials; using tools and mobile equipment; and providing basic carpentry duties.

Self-motivated Willingness to learn Common sense Physical agility and strength Hand-eye and spatial coordination Endurance and strong work ethic Alertness and focus Safety awareness (dealing with potential danger on job sites, ladders, roofs, scaffolding etc.) Tolerance for working in outside conditions Able to lift 50 pounds and maneuver other heavy objects

The Qualifications:

Valid BC Driver's License (Class 5) First Aid Level 2 - Intermediate
The following would be considered assets:

Experience on large Multi-Family, Institutional, Commercial and Industrial projects Excavator / Bobcat / Fork Lift / Heavy Equipment Operator certifications or experience Man / Aerial Lift certification Fall Arrest certification Traffic Control certification Confined Space Entry certification Valid Telehandler Zoom Boom certification
