Job Description

Central West Project Management Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist with tenant improvement construction projects and building maintenance.

This position is ideal for someone who is hardworking, safety-conscious, and looking to build experience in commercial construction.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Assist carpenters and other trades as required.

Framing, drywall, and ceiling tile installation.

Perform site clean-up, waste removal, and general housekeeping.

Set up and remove temporary protection and barriers.

Assist with demolition and prep work.

Follow direction from site management and supervisors.

Carrying and moving tools, materials, and equipment as needed.

Operation of equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts.

Occasional night shift or early morning shift depending on project requirements.

Represent the company in a positive light.

Qualifications & Experience:

Previous construction experience is an asset but not required.

Ability to perform physically demanding work

Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Punctual, reliable, and team oriented.

Willingness to learn and take direction.

CSA-approved steel-toe boots required.

Assets (Nice to Have):

Valid driver's licence.

Experience & skill with doors and hardware installation is great.

Experience on commercial or tenant improvement projects.

Familiarity with tools and basic construction tasks.

OFA level one, fall protection certifications, or equivalent safety training.
