Total Horizontal is a full-service Shallow Utility Contractor that specializes in providing safe, efficient, and reliable services to our clients around Western Canada. Our experienced field team, along with our fleet of modern equipment and electronic quality management systems ensure that our projects are completed safely and to our client\'s specification. We use horizontal directional drilling, hydrovac and mechanical excavation to complete projects across Western Canada. These services are combined for a turn key solution, or subcontracted individually as the project requires. Our team has completed over 70 km\xe2\x80\x99s shallow utility work across Western Canada. With over 30 combined years of HDD experience; our Management team has successfully managed the completion of over 140 major HDD\xe2\x80\x99s across Canada. With locations in Calgary and Edmonton, Total Horizontal Drilling is able to service projects in any region. Total Horizontal is seeking Construction Labourers experienced in FTTX construction. Experienced hands will have:
- Experience installing telecom conduit
- Experience working around Utility Construction Equipment
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License - No GDL\'s
- Smart Phone and data for HSE & QA Systems
- WHMIS 2015
- Dress for all types of weather
- Digging shallow trenches to install conduit or expose utilities
- Install boxes / vaults / pedestals
- Connecting Conduits
- Backfill and remediation
- Driving trucks and trailers
- Operating concrete saws, core drills, jumping jacks, trenchers
- Spotting equipment
- Working with drill crews to prep work
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs
- Read / write / speak English fluently
- Additional duties as job required
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime pay
- Utility Construction: 1 year (preferred)
- Class 5 Licence - Clear of GDL (required)
