Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team and contribute to building projects. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople, performing manual labor, and ensuring the smooth progress of construction activities. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and eager to learn about the construction industry.
Responsibilities
Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up equipment Load and unload construction materials and tools Dig trenches, mix concrete, and perform other basic construction tasks Assist with framing, roofing, and other structural work as directed Operate hand tools and light machinery under supervision Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment Support team members in completing daily tasks efficiently and effectively
Requirements
Ability to lift
minimum
30kg (65lbs) Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions Prior experience in construction or manual labor Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors Must be at least 18 years old Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks on-site Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to construction work is preferredJob Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
Work Location: In person
