Construction Labourer

to join our team in

Squamish, BC

for upcoming Operational Renovations.




As a Construction Labourer, you'll play an important hands-on role in supporting the successful delivery of interior renovation projects for commercial and retail clients. Working alongside skilled trades and site leadership, you'll help maintain safe, organized, and efficient worksites; often in active, customer-facing environments.


Your work will include preparing and cleaning sites, moving materials, assisting carpenters and other trades, and helping with setup and teardown of work areas. Because many projects take place in occupied or operational spaces, you'll take pride in being respectful, safety-conscious, and professional at all times.

Day and night shift work is available, with night shift premiums included.



What You'll Do



Keep construction sites clean, organized, and free of debris and potential hazards. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring safe handling and storage. Assist trades and site supervisors with day-to-day construction activities, including setup and teardown of work areas. Operate hand and power tools (e.g., saws, drills, jackhammers) to assist with demolition, cutting, or material preparation. Dig and backfill trenches, compact and level earth to grade specifications using picks, shovels, and tampers. Sort, salvage, and dispose of materials according to company and site procedures. Perform minor maintenance on tools and equipment (e.g., greasing joints, cleaning tools). Report site hazards, unsafe conditions, or maintenance needs promptly to your supervisor. Support site safety by following all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies. Represent the company professionally when working in occupied or customer-facing environments.

What You Bring



Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Construction Labourer in commercial or renovation settings. Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and safe tool use. CSTS 2009 certification required. Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation are assets. Strong safety mindset with the ability to follow direction and complete tasks efficiently. Clear communication and teamwork skills; comfortable supporting multiple trades. Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing priorities or tasks. Physically fit and able to perform demanding labour tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Working Conditions



Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, and inclement weather. Work performed in active environments, including occupied retail and commercial spaces with public, pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Regular use of hand and power tools; ability to lift up to 44 lbs.
