This role involves assisting with various construction projects, supporting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the smooth progress of building activities. Responsibilities

Assist with site preparation, including unloading materials and setting up work areas Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers in their tasks Carry out manual labor such as digging, lifting, and moving materials around the construction site Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris and organizing tools and supplies Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision Assist with loading and unloading supplies and equipment as needed Support project supervisors in completing assigned tasks efficiently

Requirements

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions carefully Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required; training will be provided Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Must be at least 18 years old Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks on-site Basic understanding of safety procedures related to construction work
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 45 per week
