Responsibilities include:
Using tools and equipment to complete tasks assigned as needed.
Taking direction from Supervisors and working with team members.
Physical Lifting following OHS Standards.
General Clean up, Spotter, and Safekeeping of the worksite.
Required Training
ACSA CSTS-2020, Ground Disturbance II (In-class) and WHMIS prior to hire start date.Pre-screen Drug/Alcohol Testing
Preference
will be given to candidates with a Class 5 driver's license who can provide a clean three-year drivers abstract, first aid, ground disturbance or confined space certificates. Willing to train non experienced workers that are fit with willingness to learn. Experience working in Construction, Landscaping, HDD, utility/pipeline industry or HDPE pipe fusing is an asset. Comfortable working 10+ hours on site daily or as needed. No experience necessarily required. We take pride in training the right candidate with the right attitude and willingness to learn.Wages
will be based on experience; this position is paid hourly.Working hours are typically 7 am - 5 pm; 5-6 days a week with overtime paid as per AB construction industry standard.
We offer in-house progressive training and opportunities for advancement within our company such as, fusing, equipment operators, welders' helpers, foreman's, etc.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
