Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of job sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment. Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials. Operate basic hand tools and power tools under the supervision of skilled tradespeople. Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team efforts in completing projects on time. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Qualifications
Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and standing for long periods. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety practices. Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced team members. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.20-$30.45 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
