We are seeking a

skilled and dependable General Labourer/Handyman

to join our team. If you have hands-on experience in construction environments and are looking for year-round work with a reputable and growing company, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with construction site preparation and clean-up Operate and maintain hand tools and small machinery (e.g., saws, drills, grinders, compactors) Transport and secure construction materials and supplies Install silt fencing, grade stakes, and safety barriers Support pipe installation and site service projects Take and set grades (laser level experience is a plus) Assist equipment operators and truck drivers on job sites Perform tasks such as painting, mowing, basic carpentry, and general handyman work Spray off trucks and help maintain the yard/shop Load, unload, and pick up construction materials Complete daily hazard assessments and follow all safety protocols Use phone-based apps for worksite documentation and communication Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of driving experience in Canada with a clean Driver's Abstract Valid Class 5 Driver's License and reliable transportation to/from work Valid First Aid and WHMIS certifications Strong understanding of construction safety policies and use of PPE Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs+ and work outdoors in all weather conditions Comfortable standing, lifting, bending, and performing physical labor for 8-10 hours/day Basic knowledge of construction and landscaping, including grades, slopes, trenching, etc. Attention to detail and pride in workmanship Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork Air brake endorsement and trailer towing experience are assets

Work Environment

Outdoor work under varying weather conditions Dusty, noisy, and fast-paced job sites Job locations vary; daily meeting point is at the company shop Travel to work sites using company vehicles
