---------Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt Provide job training and support Perform routine maintenance Order supplies and equipment Operate heavy equipment Maintain inventory of equipment Load and off-load machines Keep record of work performed and location and condition of equipment Ensure adherence to safety regulations Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments Operate machinery Shovel cement and other materials into cement mixers, spread concrete and asphalt on road surfaces using shovels, rakes and hand tampers
