Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and clean-up of job sites, including removing debris and hazardous materials. Operate hand tools and power tools as directed by supervisors. Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and concrete pouring. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Load and unload materials, ensuring they are stored properly on-site. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.

Requirements

Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive work is preferred but not required. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods. Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site. Willingness to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project needs. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
