About the Opportunity:

We are seeking motivated and reliable General Construction Labourers to join our team on the Site C Project in Fort St. John, BC. This is an excellent opportunity for local candidates with general labour or construction experience to contribute to a major infrastructure project in the region.

The work is shift work with 11 hour days - 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off rotations. Day shift and Night Shift will alternate between each rotation. Locals might have opportunity for a different shift schedule than the 14 on/off rotation.

Please respond with any equipment operation certifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general construction tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup. Hang Wire Mesh Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction activities. Operate basic tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Support project tasks as directed by supervisors.

Requirements:

Must be a resident of Fort St. John, BC, or surrounding area. Previous experience in construction or general labour work. Ability to pass a mandatory drug and alcohol test prior to hiring. Physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks in various temperature conditions. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work in a team. Valid safety certifications (e.g., CSTS, WHMIS) are an asset but not mandatory.
