Job Description

S.P. Contracting is a small business specializing in residential and commercial projects as well as snow removal with main clients in Aldergrove & Chilliwack. We are seeking a construction labor foreman to work with, lead, & supervise construction laborers on site.

Responsibilities



Supervise and coordinate the activities of laborers on site Ensure work is completed on time and according to specifications Assist with site preparation, demolition, material handling, and general labor tasks Communicate project needs, progress, and issues to Owner Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site Provide guidance to labor team members where and if needed

Requirements



5 + years of construction experience Supervisory / leadership skills & experience Strong knowledge of general construction practices and tools Exceptional communication & leadership Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in varying weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks Knowledge in running equipment; Skid Steer, Loaders, Forklift, Zoom Boom, Manlifts (additional training can be provided but a general understanding and/or some experience related to running any of these equipment types is a strength)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

Chilliwack, BC V2P 7N6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Work Location: In person
