Working with HDD drill and hydrovac crews on a telecommunications install in Edmonton and remote locations such as Rocky Mountain House Ab.
Duties
Backfilling open holes and trenches.
Carry out tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials as directed by supervisors.
Cut and core asphalt and concrete.
Land scaping.
Installing Peds and vaults.
Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Follow instructions from foremen or site supervisors to ensure project specifications are met.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on-site.
Experience
Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is a plus.
Ability to follow directions accurately and work as part of a team.
Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to construction practices.
