CONSTRUCTION LABOURER

Blackstone Homes Ltd. is award winning semi-custom home builder with 6 show homes in Edmonton. We are looking for two Full Time Construction Labourer for our sites immediately. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the Construction Labourer assists the Site Supervisor with maintenance, safety, quality control, and deficiency repair of multiple residential construction sites in one or more subdivisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain construction sites by ensuring sites are clear of garbage and debris, inside and outside during construction of homes. Full sweep and cleaning on regular basis

Installing locks and signage on houses,

Moving building materials,

Performing snow removal, water pumping and pressure washing,

Ensuring that access into and out of home sites are safe and clean (this includes stairs, ramps, guardrails, sidewalks, and driveways).

Install and maintain temporary walkways, stairs, ramps, and handrails to ensure the safe access to construction sites.

Quality control checks after every trade and complete the QC checklist.

Education & Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Candidates with construction experience will be considered.

Candidate should have an eye for detail and can lift heavy stuff.

Reliable vehicle is required as work may vary by location.

Must have a clean Drivers Abstract.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
