Construction Labourer / Cleaner
Job Description
Arkay Contracting is a construction services provider operating in the Lower Mainland (est 2003).
We are searching for a reliable Construction Labourer to join our team on a multi unit residential site at UBC.
Duties:
- Vacuuming of dry and wet dust, debris and spills
- General cleaning - keep the job site clean and organized - shoveling, sweeping and vacuuming.
- Installation and removal of laminate/ wood, carpet flooring protection
- Installation and removal of countertop and fixture/ faucet protection
- Window frame cleaning/ detailing
- Window glass cleaning
- Installation and removal of tub and shower protective covers
- Using a wheelbarrow to transport soil, gravel and other materials
- Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations.
- Assist other workers as required.
Compensation:
$21 to $24+ per hour depending on experience & skills
