Construction Labourer

Job Description
:
Construction is Canada\'s premier utility contractor, as well as head of the and part of the Group, the largest electrical power contractor in North America. Valard has full-service capabilities for transmission, distribution, substations, foundations, telecommunications, and renewable energy.
We are currently looking for qualified labourers for a project in Calgary, Alberta. Position will be Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day with potential for overtime.
Requirements:
- Packing tools into trucks
- Working around heavy equipment and assisting operators
- Working with hand power tools
- Setting forms and supporting concrete forms
- Taking direction from crew lead on various tasks
- Loading/unloading construction materials both mechanically and by hand
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites
- Preform all other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Potential to working longer shifts may be required
- Physically fit with the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver\'s License is an asset
- Skid Steer/Loader experience is an asset
- Must be local to Calgary area *accommodations and LOA are not provided*
