What You'll Do
Trade Support (When Scheduled)

• Move lumber, drywall, and materials to where trades need them
• Hold boards, tools, and equipment while trades work
• Help carry heavy or awkward items up stairs or into position
• Set up work tables, extension cords, and basic equipment
• Clean up work areas when trades finish each task

Site Organization (Daily Tasks)

• Keep work areas clean and organized throughout the day
• Sort and organize tools in proper storage areas
• Remove construction waste to dumpsters and recycling bins
• Maintain break areas - empty trash, wipe tables, stock supplies
• Charge power tools and organize equipment at end of day

Material Management

• Stack and organize lumber, drywall, and materials by type and size
• Cover materials with tarps when rain threatens
• Move delivered materials from trucks to appropriate storage areas
• Keep small parts (screws, nails, electrical boxes) organized in bins
• Report low supply levels or damaged materials to Site Coordinator

Site Maintenance

• Sweep and organize work areas each morning before trades arrive
• Maintain portable toilets, hand washing stations, and break areas
• Check that safety equipment (first aid kit, fire extinguisher) is accessible
• Set up weather protection (tarps, barriers) when needed
• Secure loose materials and equipment at end of each day

Compensation & Scheduling
Daily Rate Structure:

• Starting Rate: $160/day (8 hours)
• 3-Month Loyalty: $180/day
• 6-Month Loyalty: $200/day

Scheduling: Project-based scheduling (typically 3-4 days/week when needed)
Work Continuity: Strong performers move directly between projects - with our project pipeline, reliable workers essentially have full-time income opportunity
Payment: Weekly payment for days worked
Benefits: Opportunity for continuous work across multiple Helio projects

Must-Haves

• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on construction sites
• Professional attitude and respect for all trades
• Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols
• Basic understanding of construction work (trainable)
• Commitment to quality and organization

Nice-to-Haves

• Previous construction experience in any trade
• Experience with material handling and staging
• Basic tool knowledge and maintenance skills
• First Aid certification
• Own basic hand tools
