Job Description

We have positions open to operate an elevator hoist at a major construction site here in Prince Albert. This is a very easy position of literally running a joystick and closing doors, no major labours to this job.

Duties include:

-Hoisting contractors with materials up and down the building.

-Ensuring no snow or ice is forming on the hoist

-Safety checks of the hoist

-Ensuring weight requirements don't over exceed

Hours of running this is Monday to Friday.

6:45am-5:30pm Mon to Thurs

6:45-3:15pm Fridays

Successful candidates will need to be alcohol/drug free, reliable, not be late for shifts.

Will need training at our centre for mandatory orientations and whimis, will need an onsite orientation which starts at 7am in the morning at the construction site, will need specialized training to receive safety ticket to run the hoist which I will book in with a group at the construction site. Must have all previous trainings done before this can happen!!

Will need csa approved steel toe boots along with winter wear to work outside like denim material or clothing that cannot be snagged.

We will supply high viz jackets and other safety equipment mandatory of the work site.

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 42 per week
